Denise Ferraris

With over 30 years in recruiting and staffing, I’ve seen it all—from faxing resumes to texting interview reminders. I began my career in Connecticut at Co-opportunity, a local Hartford nonprofit staffing firm, helping match people and companies to meaningful work–long before LinkedIn was even a thing. After five years, I traded snow boots for sunshine and moved to San Diego in 1991 to join Tristaff as a Branch Manager. I later stepped into the Director of Staffing role, where I’ve enjoyed building lasting partnerships across industries ranging from administrative and professional services to engineering and IT.

When Tristaff was acquired by Amtec in December 2023, I stayed on board with the same commitment to personalized service, integrity, and matching great people with great companies.

I’m a hands-on manager who believes in teamwork and honest communication.  I take my job seriously—but not myself.

Outside the office, you’ll find me cooking, hiking, camping, or spending time with my extended family—my favorite team of all.
